Guwahati: Drug peddler held with heroin in city

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Basistha PS raided a hideout in Beharbari and arrested a notorious drug peddler named Moidul Islam, alias Raju (33), of Lalmati.

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, a team from Basistha PS raided a hideout in Beharbari and arrested a notorious drug peddler named Moidul Islam, alias Raju (33), of Lalmati. Police seized four boxes of heroin weighing 31.52 grams, along with 26 empty vials, a mobile handset and a scooty (AS01DL4036).
