Guwahati: FIR Filed against Divyang Mancha, Assam Secretary

GUWAHATI: Nripen Malakar, secretary of the Pratibandi Suraksha Sangstha, Assam (PSSA), has filed a complaint with the Dispur Police Station against the secretary of Divyang Mancha Assam Semim Ahmed, seeking action against him for allegedly making false statements against him. The complaint, dated February 18, 2025, alleged that Ahmed, who was arrested in connection with Panbazar PS Case No. 48/2025, mentioned Malakar’s name in an audio conversation with a job seeker allegedly demanding money,  the audio of which has gone viral.

 In the FIR Malakar wrote, “The accused has falsely used my name with malicious intent to fulfil his interest.” The complainant emphasized that they have no involvement with Ahmed or his organization and are not liable for their activities. Malakar has requested the police to investigate the matter and take necessary action against Ahmed for falsely blaming him.
