Guwahati: A thought-provoking lecture titled “Buddhist Philosophy and Teachings in the Sanatan Tradition of Bharat” was delivered at Vivekananda Kendra, Uzanbazaar, on Sunday. The event was jointly organized by socio-cultural organization Pragya and social organization Buddha Chetana-Bharat, with the aim of exploring the philosophical connections and shared heritage between Buddhism and the Sanatan tradition. The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Arup Bujarbaruah, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful Bhakti rendition by singer Sharat Raag. Axom Gaurav awardee Saumyadeep Datta delivered the keynote address, delving into the core tenets of Buddhist.
