GUWAHATI: Industries, Commerce, and Public Enterprises Minister Bimal Borah today reviewed the preparations of the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 slated for February 25 and 26 at the Assam Veterinary College playground at Khanapara in Guwahati.
The minister met committees for the invitation of guests, exhibition, protocols, reception, transportation, etc., at Lok Sewa Bhawan. He directed the reception committee to see that the guests did not have to face any problems. He also took stock of the countries and their representatives that have assured Assam of attending the summit. He also took stock of the number of organisations that will take part in the exhibition, the places of the exhibition, etc. He made it a point that the exhibitions should be world-class.
They asked the protocol, transportation, and facilitating committees to ensure that the guests do not face problems with their transportation, food, lodging, etc.
The minister also took stock of the security aspects of the summit, especially on February 25 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bhutanese prime minister would take part. The minister asked the officials about the parking facilities they would provide to the potential investors during the summit. The minister issued directives for the event. management groups to make the entire summit a hassle-free affair.
