GUWAHATI: In a significant breakthrough, a joint team from Basistha PS and Jorabat Outpost rescued a 16-year-old girl from Juria during an operation conducted in Byrnihat. The accused, Sunil Rabi Das (19) from Nagaon, was apprehended. Both were brought to Jorabat OP, and legal formalities have been completed. The girl will be handed over to Juria Police Station.
