GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has slapped a fine of Rs 80,000 on an eatery named Khao Gully in Guwahati for not following proper hygiene regulations issued by the authorities. The action was taken following a complaint from the public. Upon inspection, the authorities found the kitchen very unhygienic, leading to the imposition of a hefty fine. It is located in the Christian Basti locality of the city, and GMC took note the unsanitary conditions in the eatery.
