GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, the city police on Saturday arrested three persons with 6.9 gm of suspected brown sugar concealed in 65 vials from a rented house at Athgaon here.
The accused have been identified as — Rubul Das (32), Puja Deka (19), and Alpana Deka (45). The police have also recovered Rs 40,000 cash from their possession. Further investigation is on.
