GUWAHATI: A young police constable recruited in 2022, Kaushik Medhi, died in an accident that occurred at Borbari here yesterday. Medhi was posted to the Panikhaiti outpost, where he joined on June 3, 2025. Riding on his motorcycle from the Koinadhora area in Khanapara, Medhi hit a GMC bin near Pratiksha Hospital on the VIP Road and was injured. He was taken to a private hospital, where he breathed his last.
