Guwahati: City-based astrologer Leela Madhav Saikia, the prime accused in the Pompi Ghosh's murder, will be produced before a court on Friday.
Saikia was arrested by Dispur police after his alleged girlfriend's body was found at his residence in Guwahati's Last gate area on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Pompy Ghosh, a resident of Bishnupur area in Guwahati.
According to reports, Ghosh was in a relationship with the astrologer named Lila Madhab Saikia for the past three years and was working with him for the past three years.
The family members of the deceased have accused Saikia of Murder following which police nabbed Saikia under IPC Section 302.
