GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police arrested a drug peddler, Uday Doley, alias Baba, from his rented house in Patorkuchi 2nd Tiniali, Guwahati, on Tuesday. The STF team recovered a substantial quantity of suspected heroin, weighing 82 grams, along with other items, including 362 empty vials, a mobile handset, Rs. 2,000 in cash, and a Royal Enfield Bike 350CC bearing registration number AS 01 FR 1732.
In another incident, a team of STF led by Inspector Kapil Pathak conducted a raid at Koinadhara, under Basistha PS. Police apprehended a person along with 36 packets of vials containing heroin weighing 48.89 grams, a mobile handset, and cash.
