GUWAHATI: Noonmati Police arrested a truck driver, Digmabar Singh, on the India-Bhutan border and brought him to Guwahati. According to the police, Digambar Singh and Lashkar Singh came to Guwahati Refinery with two trucks from Bhutan. The two drivers had a fisticuff at Sector 3 in the Noonmati area on Saturday night when Digambar hit Lashkar on the head with a sharp weapon. Throwing Lashkar on a drain, Digambar left for Bhutan with his truck. The local people informed the police, and the police started an investigation, besides admitting Lashkar Singh to the GMCH, where he is battling for his life.
