Guwahati: A tragic road accident occurred near Games village in Lalmati today, resulting in the death of two individuals on the spot. The victims, who were reportedly riding a two wheeler, have not yet been identified.
According to sources, the exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. In the aftermath, enraged local residents blocked the highway and halting traffic movement for several hours. Police and district administration officials rushed to the spot to manage the situation and are currently working to restore normalcy. Further investigation is underway.
