GUWAHATI: The historic INA Heritage route in South East Asia Yatra 2022 concluded on Wednesday.
The INA Heritage Route in South East Asia Yatra 2022 started on October 15. A group of 39 delegates visited Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chonburi in Thailand, INA Marker, Cathay Hall and other places related to INA in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, including Batu Malai Sri Murugan Temple Cave, Siem Reap in Cambodia and finally visited Hochi Minh city, Saigon in Vietnam to pay homage and respect to Indian National Army (INA) veterans and Netaji in one way and also to celebrate the 80th year of Azad Hind Sarkar Divas.
Dr Subhajit Choudhury, coordinator of this Yatra, said that the Yatra was organized by Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Assam with the consent of the Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana and with academic collaboration of Indian Association of Thailand, Netaji Welfare Foundation Malaysia.
