GUWAHATI: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Assam government has decided that, this year, admission to the higher classes shall have to be done by online mode only.
In order to facilitate the colleges, higher secondary schools, senior secondary schools of Assam, a portal named "Anneswan" will be available through SEBA website from June 15 for admission of the students to class XI.
This portal will accept application forms for admission from the students and will prepare a list of students based on merit (marks obtained in HSLC examination).
Therefore, the principals of those colleges, higher secondary schools, senior secondary schools, of both government and private sector who are willing to avail this online facility may register for the same in online mode as per the schedule mentioned below by logging into SEBA's official website https://sebaonline.org.
Registration of institution will start on June 15 and students can apply online from June 20. The portal will close on June 30 and institution wise merit list will be published on July 1.
