GUWAHATI: A team of West Police District arrested a member of the notorious Irani Gang near the Goshala Outpost on Tuesday.
The member — Bunty Yadav, a resident of Cooch Behar, was caught red-handed while trying to snatch a bag having money from a businessman. However, the snatcher's accomplice managed to flee the spot. The snatcher sustained injuries and has been admitted to the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital for treatment.
