GUWAHATI: A Task Force has been formed for the night of December 31, 2021 by Kamrup (Metro) administration.
Kamrup (Metro) Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha said that hotels / restaurants will have to take permission for any late parties. The task force will be active on the road to keep a check on drunk driving. He further said that there will be no travelling restrictions on December 31 and he himself would monitor activities in the district on that day.
He urged people to follow all guidelines and rules so that there are no accidents while welcoming the New Year.
