Major Fire broke out in electronic shop near TV Journalist Arnab Goswami’s home in Guwahati

Guwahati: A major breaks out in an electronic shop in Guwahati’s Lal Ganesh area at around 10 am on Saturday morning destroying properties worth more than Rs 50 lakh rupees.

As per reports, one electronic shop namely ‘Electrocraft’ proprietor, Pradip Deb told The Sentinel Digital that prime facie, the reason behind the fire is suspected to be a short circuit. However, no casualties were reported during the fire incident.

It may also be mentioned that the entire shopping complex belongs to the family members of TV Journalist Arnab Goswami.

Furthermore, due to major traffic jam in the Lal Ganesh Area, the fire tenders couldn’t reach on time leading to a huge property loss.

Later, two fire tenders managed to douse the fire and brought the situation under control.

Tinsukia: Massive fire broke out today evening near Lal Bangla road in Tinsukia at around 6.30 pm today.

Many shops and houses were reportedly gutted in the fire incident.

Looking into the incidence, only two fire tenders reached to the spot, however, failed to get hold of the situation.

So far no casualties have been reported from the incident.

As per local people claims that the fire incident took place due to some leakage in gas pipelines nearby the area.

They also blamed the police administration and fire services for being late and unprofessional in their approach to tackling down the situation.

“We had not received any positive response from the fire services, only two fire tenders reached the spot but failed to bring down the situation under control. People in the area were trying their level best to get hold of the situation,” said one of the local people.
