Man arrested with heroin, cash in Noonmati

GUWAHATI: Noonmati police arrested a youth, Jayanta Kalita (28) with 5.3 gm heroin and Rs 3.84 lakh in cash on Monday night from No. 2 Madgharia. A case (95/20 u/s 21(b)/29 of NDPS Act) was registered against him. He was sent to judicial custody on Tuesday.
