GUWAHATI: A person named Ram Prasad Gupta committed suicide in Hatigaon on Tuesday.
Gupta, a native of Uttar Pradesh shot himself with his revolver at the rented house of his friend in Hatigaon. The police said he was working as a private security guard for a Hojai-based businessman named Habib Mohammad Chouhdhury. He arrived from Hojai on January 18.
