GUWAHATI, June 4: On the occasion of World Environment Day, 2018 the Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner, Virendra Mittal in a release appealed to residents of the district to plant saplings and to make the city a plastic free zone in consonance with the theme, ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’. This year, India is the global host of World Environment Day, 2018 which will take place on June 5.
