GUWAHATI: In the presence of Vice Chairman Ramen Deka, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed on Monday between the State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam, and the Assam Science, Technology, and Environment Council (ASTEC) on the project titled "An Integrated and Automated Set Up for the Preparation and Vending of Panipuri." Chief Executive Officer M.S. Manivannan, IAS, signed the project on behalf of SITA, and Dr. Jaideep Baruah, ASTEC.
In accordance with the agreement, ASTEC will work on the idea in order to create a food system that improves health and offers consumers convenience in the delivery of the tasty panipuri.
It has been decided that ASTEC would choose Saurav Jyoti Sarma as the project's lead investigator because he is the creator of the project's complete system. The goal of the initiative is to assist the inventor who created a device for panipuri preparation and sale without a vendor. With less time and labour, the goal is to produce panipuri on a wide scale. This machine's installation will take up less room and be appropriate for malls, eateries, five-star hotels, airports, etc
