GUWAHATI: A free Nephrology camp is ongoing at Hayat Hospital till January 31, to create awareness and prevent chronic kidney diseases. Chronic Kidney diseases are a chronic non-communicable disease of global importance. But due to lack of awareness and shortage of Nephrology consultants, this prevalence has been only on an increase trend.
