GUWAHATI: Indian Railways has formed a high-power committee comprising senior officials to look into the concerns and doubts raised by candidates in regard to the results of 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) of Centralized Employment Notification CEN 01/2019 of Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) issued by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on 14-15 January 15 and January 15, stated a press release.
The committee will go into various issues raised by candidates and make recommendations.
The Railway Ministry on January 27 issued FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) explaining its recruitment procedure and dispelling any doubts over its process. RRBs have notified 2, 83,747 vacancies since 2018 and have given appointments to more than 1.32 lakh candidates. Recruitment for the remaining vacancies is under process. RRBs have conducted CBTs for about four crore candidates in the last three-and-a-half years despite COVID-19-related restrictions.
In view of the concerns raised by a section of candidates who have applied for recruitment to centralized employments notification issued by RRBs that are under process, Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway has started organizing Outreach Camps from January 27 to February 16 to listen to candidates' concerns/grievances. These camps are being held at the Welfare Bureau of the Divisional Railway Manager's offices at Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia divisions, Staff Facilitation Centre, NF Railway Headquarters, Maligaon and at the office of the RRB/Guwahati & RRB/Siliguri.
Notifications in this regard have already been issued in various newspapers and social media platforms by NF Railway.
Interested candidates may attend the outreach camps at the nearest Division/Units along with the copy of E-Call letters (NTPC candidates)/Registration details (Level-1 candidates of CEN RRC-01/2019) on working days between 10:00 am and 5 pm (and between 2.30 pm and 5 pm at RRB, Siliguri office) and may submit their grievances/concerns. Alternatively, candidates can also send their grievances/concerns in this regard to rrbcommittee@railnet.gov.in.
