Guwahati: Indian Railways is going to operate a Bharat Gaurav Special train with Train No. 00131, which started its journey from Bhusawal on January 1 at 08:00 hours to reach Guwahati at 07:30 hours on January 3. During its return journey, the train will depart from Guwahati on January 4 at 18:30 hours, to arrive in Bhusawal at 03:40 hours on January 7. The train will run via Vidisha, Manikpur, Barauni, Katihar, New Jalpaiguri, and New Bongaigaon during its both-way journey. This Bharat Gaurav Special train aims to offer a unique travel experience, celebrating the cultural diversity and heritage of India.
Furthermore, Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to revise the timings of a few special trains for better convenience of passengers as follows: Train No. 05638, the Silchar-Naharlagun express, commencing its journey every Monday from January 6 to March 31, 2025, will depart from Silchar at 13:10 hours and reach Naharlagun at 08:40 hours the next day. In its return direction, train no. 05637, the Naharlagun-Silchar Express, commencing its journey every Tuesday from January 7 to April 1, will depart from Naharlagun at 10:00 hours and reach Silchar at 05:20 hours the next day. The train will run via New Haflong, Lumding, Dimapur, Mariani, New Tinsukia, and Dhemaji, and Harmuti in both directions.
Similarly Train No. 05628 Agartala-Guwahati Special will commence its journey every Thursday from January 2 to March 27, departing from Agartala at 19:00 hours and reaching Guwahati at 08:45 hours the next day. In its return direction, train no. 05627 Guwahati-Agartala Special, commencing its journey every Friday from January 3 to March 27, will depart from Guwahati at 13:15 hours and reach Agartala at 04:10 hours the next day. The train will run via Ambasa, New Karimganj, New Haflong, Lumding, and Chaparmukh in both directions, a press release stated.
