GUWAHATI: A young woman was found hanging in the bathroom of a paying guest (PG) accommodation at the Harabala Path in the Ulubari area here on Sunday.
Police sources identified the deceased as one Sharmistha Ghosh (21), hailing from Alipurduar in West Bengal. She was a student of a nursing institute in the city, the sources said, and added that prima facie evidence indicates that she committed suicide.
