GUWAHATI: A team of 39 stranded people of Assam started paddling from Chennai to Assam on Thursday, but the police in Andhra Pradesh held and sent them back to Chennai.
All the 39 were working in different private companies in Chennai. During the lockdown they have been sitting idle during the lockdown, they appealed to the Assam government to make all arrangement to take them to the State. There are thousands of such people of Assam stranded in various States, and they have been trying to come to Assam but cannot.
