GUWAHATI: The Panchayat and Rural Development Department has suspended Saroj Das, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Dullabcherra, Karimganj for committing financial irregularities during the implementation of schemes under MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act). According to a release, the BDO also performed poorly in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin) for the year 2020-21.
