GUWAHATI: The 'Police Commemoration Day' was observed by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Frontier Guwahati at 1st Bn Sonapur on 21 st October, 2021.
On the cocasion, Sonam Bodh, Dy. Inspector General, officers of SSB and personnel laid wreath at the memorial of the Martyrs at the 1st Bn Sonapur. Sonam Bodh, Dy. Inspector General during his address, stated the names of 377 Police personnel of Centre and State police who sacrificed their lives during duty and in action in the period with effect from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021. A two-minute silence was observed to pay tributes to the Martyrs, stgated a press release.
