Probe into United Liberation of Bodoland (ULB) militants' death at Ultapani area

GUWAHATI: Jayant Narlikar, Commissioner of Lower Assam Division, has been entrusted to inquire into the circumstances leading to the death of two suspected United Liberation of Bodoland (ULB) militants in an encounter with the police that took place at Ultapani area under Kokrajhar police station on September 18. Narlikar will ascertain the facts and circumstances leading to the death of the militants and submit the inquiry report within 15 days.
