Projectors, sanitary napkins donated to flood-affected people at Janata Bhavan

GUWAHATI: Five hybrid projectors and sanitary napkins for flood-affected people were handed over ceremonially to SEED Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah by Casio India and Unicharm India respectively under the CSR initiatives of their companies respectively in partnership with Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, Assam at Janata Bhavan on Tuesday.

The five projectors were donated by Casio India Private Limited under their CSR initiative 'Gyan ki Roshni' with a purpose to build digital learning among youth. On the other hand, Unicharm India Private Limited undertook sanitary napkin distribution rogramme under their CSR initiative with a purpose of promoting health and hygiene among flood-affected people. This partnership is expected to help around 10,000 individuals who will get access to safe menstrual products, stated a press release.
