PSSA demands exemplary punishment for the police thrashing a specially-abled

GUWAHATI: The Pratibandhi Suraksha Sangstha, Assam (PSSA) on Monday demanded exemplary punishment to the police personnel who is accused of thrashing a specially-abled minor on July 23.

The PSSA said that although the accused personnel Mukut Bania has been suspended but this will not benefit the child either way for his mental agony. Further, the body also demanded investigation against all the police personnel who were present at the time of the occurrence of the incident and remained as a "mute spectator."
