GUWAHATI: Rajib Lochan Barthakur, IIS, Deputy Director (News) and Head of News at Akashvani Guwahati, retired on Saturday after more than 33 years of service in the Indian Information Service. During his career, Barthakur served in various departments of the Central Government, including Akashvani, Doordarshan and the Central Board of Film Certification.
