GUWAHATI: Crown winner of International Beauty Pageant and renowned Social Activist Lipika Modi recently received the "2020 Dr Sarojini Naidu International Award" presented by the Asian Academy of Arts Marwah Studios at a virtual ceremony held on September 18, 2020.
She also holds the title of Ms "E and E I am the World" runners-up crown 2019 and was the only finalist from Northeast India at Maven Ms Plus size India 2019. She has also been appointed as the Assam State Coordinator of the Anti-Corruption Foundation of India. Apart from this, Modi is associated with various social causes like Body Positivity, Feed the Hunger, Women Empowerment etc.
The 2020 Dr Sarojini Naidu International Award celebrates women in leadership who have contributed to their respective fields and the society as a whole. Resident of Guwahati, Lipika is also the recipient of several international and national awards like the Crown Women of Substance Award presented by the All India Achiever's Conference and the International Pride Women Award 2020 to name a few.
