Guwahati: The Assam Police Chiefs Reunion meet will be held in all districts of the state in the next 45 days. DGP GP Singh said on social media on Monday, “It has been decided that all districts shall have reunion meets of all retired Assam police personnel of all ranks over the next 45 days. We would be honouring them for their services to the state and also seeking their views to improve policing standards in the state.”
Meanwhile,the Assam Police Chiefs Reunion Seminar 2024 was held on December 7 and December 8 centrally in Guwahati. This seminar served as a platform to honour the legacy of former police chiefs and chart a course for the future. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya were present.
