GUWAHATI: Robbery in broad daylight in Guwahati during the corona-induced lockdown!? Such an incident occurred in the city on Saturday. A person aged about 41, Palash Das of Uzan Bazar in Guwahati took Rs 1,000 from Janani Medicos, a pharmacy at knifepoint. Palash Das had also taken medicines worth Rs 573 from the pharmacy on credit the day before. Acting on a case (192/2020) filed by the pharmacy, Latasil police arrested Palash on Saturday night. Palash has been sent to the jail after his production in the court.
