GUWAHATI: Bhagyaraj Barua and his team of seven tattoo artists have made it to the India Book of Records and hold a record for ‘Fascinating Tattooing Circle’. The attempt fell under the category group attempts where the eight tattoo artists tattooed on each other by making a circle on the theme ‘Save Rhino, Save Nature’. The event was held at Brindaban Garden in Zoo road tiniali. They made a record by making the tattoos in 81 minutes. Barua’s team members include Prasant Bhuyan, Hritik Kalita, Sudipta Baruah, Munmi Hazarika, Rim Saikia, Pranjal Chakravarty and Piku Devi.
Previously, the record was held by four tattoo artists from South Africa who endured the pain of tattooing on each other for 45 minutes. Indian Book of Records has certified this and the feat will be featured in their next edition of the book.
