SITA to Hold Seminar on Atal Innovation Mission Theme

GUWAHATI: Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is Government of India’s endeavour to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Its objective is to serve as a platform for awareness and promotion of innovation, incubation, technology challenges, strengthening Start-ups ecosystem and also encourage self-employment activities particularly in technology driven areas.

On that line, State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam has decided to organize a seminar on AIM’s theme ‘Cultivate one Million Children in India as Neoteric Innovators’ to boost and support the start up and first generation entrepreneurs in the state. SITA would involve state government departments, educational institutions and other stakeholders in organizing trainings, events, heckathons, challenges and lectures to popularize and stimulate a culture of tinkering and innovation in the state.

As per a press release, in Assam under ATL program many selected schools have undergone ATL Training’s workshop through ATL training program. SITA as such will be associating AIM in intervening in the areas of interest for the greater benefit of the state.

SITA Vice Chairman Dipok Kumar Barthakur has given to know that SITA is already in touch with NITI Aayog to conduct such a programme in Guwahati in the days to come.
