GUWAHATI: The Assam government carried out a reshuffle in the Assam police. Special Director General of Police (Communication), Assam S N Singh is transferred and posted as Director, Fire and Emergency Services, Assam with effect from the date of taking over charge against an existing vacancy. He is allowed to hold the additional charge of Special Director General of Police (Communication) until further orders.
On the other hand, K. V. Singh Deo, Special Director General of Police, BI (EO), Assam, with additional charge of Special Director General of Police (Prosecution), Assam, is transferred and posted as Director General of Civil Defence and Commandant General Home Guard, Assam, with effect from the date of taking over charge against an existing vacancy.
