GUWAHATI:SwadeshiJagaran Mancha-Asom (SJMA) has taken a number of measures for boycotting Chinese goods and goods from other countries so as to encourage the use of indigenous products. Making the State free from polythene is also among the resolutions taken by the Mancha.
The Mancha is going to take up programmes to bring about awareness on using local goods and making the State polythene free.
The meeting that was attended by AkhilBharatiyaSangharshBahiniPromukhAnnada Shankar Panigrahi as the chief guest also constituted its Guwahati City District Committee.
