GUWAHATI: In a drive against teer gambling, the Crime Branch of the City Police on Thursday arrested altogether 15 teer gamblers from various areas under Bharalumukh, Paltan Bazar and Dispur police stations.
During the drive, the team of the Crime Branch seized various tools used in gambling along with cash amounting to Rs 50,000. Meanwhile, the team also detained another 11 persons for interrogation in connection with teer gambling.
