GUWAHATI: Guwahati has become a place where accidents frequently take place. Two consecutive traffic accidents were reported within a span of eight hours on Thursday.
A speeding bus bearing registration number AS 01 HC 1483 collided with three private vehicles, injuring its occupants and blocking the road at Ganeshguri in the morning today. As per sources, the bus lost control and hit the three vehicles. Along with the bus, the three private vehicles were also damaged. The accident led a crowd to gather at the spot.
Again in the afternoon hours, two cars collided head-on at the Arya Nagar flyover. As per sources, five people were injured. All five were admitted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Also, among the five of them, one’s condition turned critical.
