GUWAHATI: Two people sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Guwahati’s Chandmari area on Sunday. According to preliminary information, the vehicle involved in the accident bore an Arunachal Pradesh registration number. The driver allegedly attempted to flee the spot following the collision. Local residents rushed to the aid of the injured and took them to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment. Further details about the condition of the injured and the circumstances leading to the accident were awaited.
