GUWAHATI: The biennial Dr Indira Goswami (Mamoni Raisom Goswami) National Literature Award, by the Axom Xahitya Xabha (AXX), will be conferred upon noted Marathi author Vishwas Patil. Addressing a press conference, AXX president Parmananda Rajbongshi announced that Marathi author Vishwas Patil will be the recipient of the National Literature Award, 2020. The AXX in association with the Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), has been presenting the award biennially since 2014. Vishwas Patil is a renowned author of Marathi language, an IAS officer, as well as a historian. The award includes a citation, a memento, a bundle of books, felicitation cloth and a cheque of Rs 3,00,000. It will be presented on February 2, 2020 at AXX Sualkuci Conference.
