GUWAHATI: The Assam State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has announced the date for the written examination for recruitment to 13,300 Grade-4 posts in various State Government departments.
According to a notice issued by the SLRC, the examination for Class-VIII category will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon on August 21 next. The subjects will be English, Social Studies, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Mental Ability and Logical Reasoning. The SRLC Grade-4 written examination for the HSLC or equivalent examination-passed category will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm on the same day for the same subjects. The entire schedule has been put up on the website.
The admit cards for the SLRC Grade 4 will be released soon on the website. Once the dates are announced for admit cards, the link will be active and candidates can access it on the website assam.gov.in.
The admit cards will have important details such as name, roll number, examination venue, date, time, registration number etc., along with the guidelines.
The notice also mentioned that there will be no negative marking and there will be a total of 135 multiple choice questions of one mark each. The candidates have to finish the paper within two hours.
