Vidya Bharati North Eastern Region Organizes Mathematics & Science Fair

GUWAHATI: With a view to developing the talents related to mathematics and science in the students, a three-day math science fair was organized by Vidya Bharati North Eastern Region at Sankardev Vidya Niketan Vishnupath in Guwahati.

400 students from northeastern states participated in the maths science fair. The regional Mathematics Science Fair will be organized from the 12th to the 14th of September.

Vidya Bharati North Eastern Region Minister and General Editor of Assam Science Society Dr Jagdinder Roy Choudhury, IIT Guwahati Assistant Professor Neeraj Sharma, Vidya Bharati North Eastern Region Organization Minister Dr Pawan Tiwari, Shishu Shiksha Samiti Assam President Dr Dibyajyoti Mahant, General Editor of Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam Kulendra Kumar Bhagwati were present.

Neeraj Sharma, while talking to the students on science-related topics, provided guidance. In the three-day Maths Science Fair, competitions related to science and Vedic maths, paper reading and demonstration-related competitions will be organized. Students securing first place in these competitions will participate in the All India Maths Science Fair to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
