Anushka Sharma was known for her gorgeous red Banarasi saree that she wore at her wedding reception. Sui Dhaga - Made In India has been weaving a breathtaking saree story on several occasions over the past few days.

Her orange-ish red Chanderi Banarasi silk saree got her all the applause. She paired it with a golden choker neck piece and a pair of heavy danglers. She also wore chuda in hands, and white gajra on the bun. She is carrying this classy style these days.

In Sui-dhaga, she is seen wearing sarees all the time. How can we forget when she turned all the heads as she draped a gorgeous golden-green Banarasi Chanderi silk saree. She wore it at the Priyadarshni Academy's 34th Anniversary Global Awards. She matched her blouse with the saree, and paired it with a statement jewellery. Classy! She was looking very elegant and regal when she went on stage to receive the Smita Patil Memorial Award.

She bought it from the Chanderi weavers at the location where the movie, "Sui Dhaga" was shot. She is wearing a Banebar saree. The silk, used for it is called Katan Silk with the body and motif made from Zari. She paired this green beauty with Jaipuri jewels.

Quite lately, she has added a tinge of “Mamta” (her charcater) from Sui Dhaga to her real life. While speaking to the media, she revealed that Mamta wears saree every day, and that is all what she wears. While playing her role, she had to be comfortable doing “jhadu”, cooking, climbing up and down the stairs, all while wearing a saree. Add, it had to look easy on her, as if it comes naturally to her.

When Virat Kohli was honoured with the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award by President Ram Nath Kovind, Anushka stepped out in a Sabyasachi georgette sari with bold tilla borders. She teamed a hazar-buti blouse and polki earrings with it to complete her look. She looked completely traditional by tying her hair up and sporting a nude lip colour.
