GUWAHATI, Oct 24: The 15th Intertiol Leo Expo will start at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre in Guwahati from October 30 to November 15, a press release informed.
This year too several top brands of tiol and intertiol repute will participate in the event, that has been a crowd puller for the last 15 years.
tiol Jute Board and Bodoland Territorial Council will also participate in the expo. Apart from it, there would be more to choose from a wide variety of IT companies who have confirmed their participation in large number, the release said.
Afghanistan, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh,.Nepal and Thailand would also participate in the expo. Afghanistan's dry fruits, Sri Lanka's famous pearls & jewellery, Thailand's winter wares, jewellery and handicraft products, Bangladesh's melamine utensils and Jamadani , Tangail, Tant etc. sarees will be made available in the expo much to the customers' delight. Products from Pakistan will be on sale viz. various home decorative, crafted out from world famous Onyx stones along with Egypt's decorative & Artefacts' would also be available in the expo.
Apart from shopping spree, there would also be a number of competitions in the expo this year. On November 8, students from nursery to Class X would compete among themselves in three different categories at the 'Complete Solutions Art Competition'. The prelimiry rounds are open for all (above the age-of 15).
Leo Expo Artist Sanman for 2015 would be conferred on prominent actor Dinesh Das, whereas ace jourlist Pradip Baruah would be awarded with the Leo Expo Jourlist Sanman, 2015.Moreover, intertiolly acclaimed actor late lndra Baniya would also be honoured posthumously.
