GUWAHATI, April 16: In a joint operation, Bashishtha police and Panchgram (Hailakandi) police apprehended two persons along with 12-wheeler truck (AS11BC0191) on Sunday night. The truck, according to the police, was stolen from Hailakandi.
The two lifters have been identified as Mozakir Hussain Borbhuyan of Hailakandi and Abdul Mojid of Barpeta. Bashishtha police handed over the duo to Panchgram police. Another truck (AS25A7040) stolen by the duo from Beharbari in Guwahati was also recovered from Mukalmua.
