GUWAHATI, Feb 21: The Assam AIDS Control Employees’ Association is going to stage an agitation from February 27 in support of their various demands. The association said that the Congress government in the State has been neglecting its various demands for the past 15 years. Leaders of the association said that on February 17 they went to submit their memorandum to the Project Director, who, however, scolded and warned them that they would be dismissed from job if they resorted to any agitation. The leaders of the Association said that from February 27 to 29, they will resort to a pen down agitation in each ICTC, PPTC, blood bank, ART, STI, SRL, OST etc., centre, and that they will stage a dhar in front of the office of the Assam State AIDS Control Society on March 2.
