GUWAHATI, Sept 20: The Assam Press Correspondents’ Union (APCU) is going to hold its tenth biennial conference on January 8, 9 and 10, 2016 at Biswath Chariali. The decision was taken at the central executive meeting of the Union held today at the Guwahati Press Club.
The working president of the reception committee of the biennial conference formed earlier, Akon Saikia of Biswath Chariali informed the meeting today that he is going to dote an office room for the central committee of the APCU at Guwahati. Saikia was felicitated at the meeting today. The meeting also decided to observe the tiol Press Day at Guwahati Press Club on November 16. The meeting was presided over by APCU president Manoj Singh.
